Worthy Brewing in Bend, Oregon, US, has installed SunMaxx Solar's solar thermal system at its new building that occupies around 28,000ft2 of a two story building.

Installed by Sunlight Solar Energy, the system is expected to provide the brewery with approximate 20% solar fraction and help it reduce its carbon foot print.

The system includes 56 TitanPower Plus SU24 roof mounted solar hot water collectors and a StorMaxx non-pressurized 2000gal solar storage tank.

The new building will house the brewery, restaturant and a future hops garden and greenhouse.

SunMaxx sales manager Ed Gunn said any business that uses a lot of hot water can profit greatly from a solar hot water installation.
